Displayed is a historical patent illustration for a merry-go-round, credited to W. D. Cronin and C. B. Adams, with the patent date of January 20, 1891, as indicated at the top. Two figures of the merry-go-round, labeled "FIG. A" and "FIG. B," showcase a side view with horses and a top view diagramming the rotating platform mechanism, both rendered in precise line drawings typical of patent documents. The bottom of the illustration also features the names of witnesses and the signature of the inventor, providing authenticity to this technical artwork.
