Creating this image was an experiment in the production of a moving sensation. Through a bend, a twist and distortion of the image the subject of a mechanical abstract was transformed into a swirl of colors, shapes, and textures that dazzle the eye of the viewer. Primary colors of magenta, orange, and grey from an aged vintage era blend into the alteration between time and space, creatively developing the feeling of falling and curling into the fathoms of time. Perhaps considered uncomfortable by some, the styling of the photograph on display here contrasts between two opposing forces. The static nature of the vast mechanical background and the fragmentation of time as a distortion effect that remains visible to the human eye.
