This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Tom Calderon
I began making art by learning to draw Rick Griffin's Murphy cartoon character for friends at school. As a San Francisco Bay area teenager in the Sixties, the Avalon and Fillmore dance hall posters inspired me to draw psychedelic visionary art that won awards in high school exhibitions. I made linoleum block prints with biblical themes in the Seventies, and then a series of xerox collage images that I called "Ideographs" or "Psychic Flowcharts" in the Eighties. During the following decade, I created multimedia performance art for the shows put on by several Santa Cruz art collectives- The Average Americans and the Interactionists. The events in the early part of the new millennium focused my interest in politics and propaganda into the...
